Dynamic localization in curved coupled optical waveguide arrays

Abstract

We present the experimental observation of three different optical localization schemes in curved coupled optical waveguide arrays. Exact and approximate dynamic localization are compared and a new type of localization, quasi-Bloch oscillations, is demonstrated.
