N2 - Dieulafoy lesion (DL), also known as Cirsoid aneurysm, and submucosal arterial malformation was originally described by Gallard in 1884. In 1898, the French surgeon, Dieulafoy, reported 3 patients with hematemesis and gastric bleeding emanating from a submucosal vascular anomaly. Although DL is seen most commonly in the gastrointestinal tract, the presence of this lesion in the bronchus has been reported in 12 cases previously. In this report, we present the 13th reported case of hemoptysis resulting from bronchial DL, review the previously reported cases, and comment on the appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic strategy.
