Abstract

This chapter explores the intersection of creativity, consciousness, and artificial intelligence (AI) through a series of recounted conversations among experts from many fields including art, technology, management, and health economics. The panelists discussed personal experiences with creativity, considering whether AI poses a threat to or serves as a facilitator of the creative process. They reflected on how AI enhanced their creativity, examining its potential in both individual and organizational contexts. Topics covered included the role of AI in generative art, collaboration, and the democratization of creativity, as well as ethical concerns regarding AI’s impact on human creativity and intellectual property. The panelists also considered broader implications, such as how AI may influence the future of work and creativity in various industries, the question of AI consciousness, and the importance of human guidance in creative processes.
