Abstract

The authors regret an error in use of the ‘greater than less than’ symbol to define older adults. The sentence should have read: Page 1, Abstract, Background: Older adults (≥65 years) with palliative care needs are increasingly accessing the emergency department. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
