Abstract
Coccidioidomycosis of the prostate gland is an uncommon manifestation of disseminated disease, there being only three prior cases diagnosed antemortem in the English literature. Clinically it may be confused with abscess or neoplasm. An unsuspected case of coccidioidomycosis involving the prostate of a man of 72 is presented, with a review and brief discussion of urogenital coccidioidal infection.
