Abstract
Although growing spine procedures should be used sparingly in neuromuscular patients, some with severe curves who are skeletally immature may benefit. We present the case of a patient with a 135° curve which was treated with preliminary traction, growing rods distracted over a 5-year interval, and did not need a final fusion at 7 years after insertion. He achieved complete correction of his pelvic obliquity and over 20 cm of T1-S length.
