Abstract
This review outlines the major neurological manifestations of the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and other AIDS-spectrum disorders. The clinical features of AIDS-related dementia, which is estimated to affect 60% of patients with AIDS, is reviewed and contrasted with opportunistic infections. Present treatment and options are discussed.
