Abstract

Sucrose phosphorylase (EC 2.4.1.7) reaction was combined into one-pot galactosyltransferase reaction in which the enzyme scavenged for the accumulated inorganic phosphate and utilized it with sucrose to generate in situ glucose I-phosphate. that was the essential component for galactosylation.
