Abstract
Since systemic steroid had never been tried as a specific treatment for succa syndrome, the authors undertook to evaluate the effect of alternate-day steroid therapy on seven women with primary Sjogren's disease (i.e., who had dry eyes and dry mouths not associated with other connective tissue disorders). Five of the seven women reported improvement in their symptoms after treatment.
