Abstract
An adaptive system for the processing of electrogastric signals that enhances the signals is proposed. The main disturbance, respiratory artifact, can be efficiently canceled and time variations of the gastric signal frequency can be monitored online. Results for four different positional ECG signals are presented and discussed. The algorithms used by the system are simple and easy to implement, and the system can be installed on a personal computer.
