N2 - The concept of lifetime changes detection of an embedded pH sensitive sensor has been described previously in a tissue phantom. Currently, we are presenting a powerful scanning system that allows us to measure lifetime changes in a turbid media such as tissue. The system can extract pH changes as well as reconstruct the location of embedded foci within a phantom and tissue by applying a powerful reconstruction algorithm. The system is integrated under LABVIEW control and allows reconstruction of the data in a fairly short time.
