Abstract

The paper describes RANLST, an interactive program to produce random sequences for randomizing patients or animals to treatments in biomedical experiments. The program allows the user to specify strata, seed value for the random generator, equal or unequal treatment allocation, and unrestricted or restricted randomization. An illustrative example is included.
