Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the problem of stabilization, and detection and tracking of moving or stationary objects in a forward-looking infrared (FLIR) sequence. A multifractal formalism is proposed for stabilization and activity detection and the method has been compared to three other classical techniques in image processing.
