Abstract
This foreword provides a welcome to all participants of MedInfo 2013 in Copenhagen. It discusses the challenges of the editorial process including issues related to the complicated format required for the submissions as well as the page limitation challenges. The new process of employing a large number of editors to tackle the enormous task of editing 188 papers and 324 posters is discussed. Gratitude is expressed to the editorial committee members Profs. Ammenwerth and Nhr as well as the assistant editors who made the process possible.
