Abstract

The relationship between psychiatry and religion is complex, and has been complicated by the heterogeneity of each. This paper proposes a modest framework within which the interaction between the fields can be organized. The aim of this framework is to provide clarity to the interaction to further the care of individuals, as well as to promote research into and teaching of the psychiatry-religion interaction.
